Astrid heeft een enorm grote passie voor muziek en had graag zelf op niveau willen musiceren en zingen. In aanleg is muzikaliteit wel degelijk aanwezig, maar ze is te vroeg gestopt met muzieklessen en heeft te laat een poging tot een herstart gewaagd. Met musiceren moet je liefst al jong beginnen en dan vooral doorgaan, beslist niet stoppen. Zingen? Over de kwaliteit van haar stembanden kan beter worden gezwegen…

Maar goed dat Astrid zoveel genoegen schept in schrijven en op die manier haar twee passies kan combineren. Astrid schrijft graag columns, verhalen én songteksten. Verschillende songteksten zijn door componisten gebruikt om liedjes voor artiesten te schrijven. Astrid schreef en schrijft voor heel uiteenlopende genres: pop, rock, levenslied, Engelstalig of in het Nederlands, componisten kunnen Astrid inschakelen voor het schrijven van een liedtekst. Ook werkte Astrid samen in projecten, zoals ‘aSkEN project’, ‘Fat Eddy Band Project’ en ‘FEB Music Productie’. Met ‘Twoomusic’ richt ze zich vooral op het wat alternatieve genre: voor het overgrote deel van de albums en singles van ‘Gashunters‘ heeft Astrid de lyrics geschreven.

Though Astrid is able to create a basic composition, she mainly collaborates with several composers who write songs for vocalists and bands. Pop, rock or a real torchy song, whatever kind of lyric a composer or artist needs, they can contact Astrid. She is also involved in projects like ‘aSkEN project’, ‘Fat Eddy Band Project’ and FEB Music Productie’. With ‘Twoomusic’ she is fixed upon somewhat alternative styles and Astrid wrote the major part of the lyrics for the 4 albums and 7 singles of ‘Gashunters‘.
